My name is Kate Tipton and this is my first year as an Alcoa tornado! I have worked in education for eight years and this is my third year working in SPED. My part time position allows me to take afternoon classes to finish my degree in soil science and plant genetics. In my free time I enjoy breeding new hybrids of cut flowers and spending quality time with my family. My husband Caleb and I have five kids, three of which are triplets! I’m looking forward to building relationships with my kiddos and co-workers this year.
