Hi there!

My name is Courtney Gaddis, and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade at Alcoa Elementary! This is my fifth year teaching and my very first year at Alcoa City Schools. I am passionate about developing students as they become lifelong learners and leaders. As a kid growing up in Blount County, I know the amazing reputation and standard that Alcoa City Schools holds in the community, and I am excited to join the team. 

This year, my classroom theme is the Honeybees! Each student will learn how their strengths, alongside those of their peers, will help make our class hive better! I am looking forward to a year that’s sweeter than honey!
