Hi, my name is Michelle Walker and I am an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I have been doing Occupational Therapy since 2008.  I'm married to my husband Mark, have 2 daughters, and a tiny dog named Bo. I'm excited to be working with the kids at Alcoa City Schools and helping them expand their skills! I worked in an outpatient clinic for 11 years and have been in the school system since 2017. Occupational Therapy in the school setting addresses many areas not limited to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and executive functioning.   

 

Education:

I have a bachelors degree in Psycholoy from Maryville College 1998-2002.  I worked in social work for 3 years and then went back to school. I graduated from Roane State Community College in 2008 with an associates degree to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
