Profile

Hello! My name is Ava Hurley, but most of the school knows me as Ms. Ava. I graduated in 2025 from Auburn University with my bachelor's degree in Collaborative and Early Childhood Special Education. In the 2025-2026 school year, I worked as our behavior paraprofessional and transitioned into an interim CDC teacher role, and I am lucky enough to officially step into that role next school year. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and spending time outdoors  I'm so grateful and excited to continue being part of the Alcoa family!
