About Me:
Hello!!! My name is Heath Dunkel and I'm extremely excited to begin my teaching career at Alcoa Elementary School! I graduated from the University of Tennessee where I was a part of the UT Singers & Men's Acapella group (VOLume) as the vocal percussionist... aka the Beat-Boxer. Outside of my passion for the arts I am also a sports broadcaster. My broadcasting journey has led to many opportunities including being named the Voice of the Tornadoes, Voice of the Maryville College Scots, and host of the Maryville College Wall of Fame since 2023. I am the founder of Too Hype Sports and have been able to use this platform to uplift and shine a light on the incredible young athletes in our community. I'm looking forward to this new adventure as the paraprofessional in P.E. alongside Mrs. Adams as we look to develop the hearts and minds of our students and teach them THEY CAN DO HARD THINGS!
