Hello! My name is Ms. Kaila Claiborne, and I am so excited to be your child’s 1st grade teacher at Alcoa Elementary. I’m proud to be a Tornado!

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child and Family Studies, from the University of Tennessee. I then went on to receive my Master’s in Elementary Education from Lincoln Memorial University.

Outside the classroom, I love to spend time with my family. My fiancé, Greg, and I have two kiddos together; Kaiden (7) and Kambri (1). 

I’m truly looking forward to a fantastic school year full of learning, laughter, and growth. I can’t wait to get to know each of you and your amazing children!
