Profile
I have had the pleasure of working within the Alcoa Schools community for over 20 years. As a school counselor, I work to support our students throughout their educational and personal journeys. Each developmental stage throughout a child's life is important and helps to lay the foundation for the next stage. I offer encouragement and a safe place for students to be seen and heard, as I want them to know they are valued and special. I also teach classes at Alcoa Elementary on a 8 day rotation schedule. I see every student approximately 3 times a month for an hour long class, where we focus on social emotional learning. The link at the bottom of the page includes information on guidance classes at AES.
