Welcome:
Hi! My name is Kelsi Laverdiere. I am a passionate, energetic educator with the aim to instill a lifelong love of learning within my students! I walked into my first classroom in 2011 and have loved the journey.. I have taught 1st - 5th grades, but 2nd is by far my favorite! I went to Maryville College and then attended LMU for my masters in education. I am excited about the opportunity to work with young students each day!
About Me:
I was born in St. Petersburg, FL and still very much love the beach! I moved to Maryville during elementary school and then attended Heritage High School (2005), Maryville College (2009), and Lincoln Memorial University (2011). My husband teaches and coaches at AHS. We have three boys that keep us on our toes. As a family we enjoy sports, reading, swimming, everything Alcoa Tornadoes, and church.
