Profile
I am Sandy Stuart and have taught at Alcoa for 44 of my 46 years of teaching. I have taught in every grade level, plus spent many years teaching in Special Education. I retired 3 years ago and came back to work as a Reading Intervention Specialist. I was raised in Alcoa, where my father was the football coach at AHS, the principal, and went on to become superintendent. My love for Alcoa is deep rooted and strong! I have two sons, Scott and Brett, who are now grown but we enjoy spending time together and traveling together. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy working part time at AES! It is so exciting to spend every day doing something I truly love and each day brings laughter and enjoyment to me. Alcoa is the best place to be! Education: BA in Elementary Education and BA in Special Education from University of Tennessee 1979, Masters Degree Elementary Education from LMU 2005
