Today in Dr. Ms. Mia's room, her paleontologist friends dissected owl pellets as part of their informational dinosaur unit. Say What? Owl Pellets?Dinosaurs? They have learned that some scientists think that dinosaurs were more like birds than they were like reptiles. For example, they learned that some scientists think that Tyrannosaurus Rex may have had feathers and had 4 toes like chickens. They compared and contrasted what they learned about the two dinosaurs that they are studying with information they learned about owls in order to form opinions about which dinosaur they think has the most in common with owls.
