Message From Our Assistant Principal Dr. Williams

Dear AES families,

Welcome to another fantastic school year! I am Sara Williams and am incredibly blessed to serve as the Assistant Principal of AES. For many of you, AES is your child’s first experience with school and that is something we don’t take lightly. We want to set them up for many years of success and laying a strong foundation is something we do very well at Alcoa Elementary School. Our mission goes beyond academic excellence; we aim to nurture your children with kindness and compassion, and ultimately help them become strong, confident, and the very best Alcoa tornadoes they can be. I'm eager to get to know each of you personally. I'm thrilled to embark on my 8th year here and my 19th year in education with you all this school year.

On a personal note, my husband Nathan (AHS c/o '99) and I have been married for 10 years, and we have two wonderful children who keep us always on the go, Caroline (4th grade) and Rhett (K). We also have a 4-year-old German Shepherd named Charlotte. I love to cook, enjoy attending sporting events (Hail State), and can often be found curled up with a good book and a cup of coffee! Exploring new places and experiencing new things together is what we love to do the most!

Once again, welcome to the AES family. Let's make this school year an incredible journey of learning and growth!

Sincerely,
Dr. Sara Williams
Assistant Principal
