About Me:

Hi! My name is Mrs. Kristin Geren! This is my 17th year teaching at Alcoa Elementary and my 9th year in Kindergarten. I taught 1st and 2nd grades for several years before realizing that my passion and calling were in Kindergarten! I LOVE having the privilege of being a child’s first teacher and igniting a love of learning in my students!

My husband and I have been married for 14 years. We have two boys, 3 dogs, and 5 cats. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching my boys play sports and camping. I also love traveling, reading, and swimming!

2007- Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee

2008- Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee

2011- Educational Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University
