My name is Kristin Whelahan, and I am a Pre-K teacher at Alcoa Elementary School. I graduated from The University of Tennessee with a bachelors degree in Child and Family Studies and a masters degree in Early Childhood Education. I also earned an Education Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Administration and Supervision. I taught first and third grades in Knox County Schools for 6 years. I have worked in the Pre-K program at Alcoa for 18 years. I have been married to my husband, Shawn for 24 years and we have two children, Ian and Izabela. I am honored to work for Alcoa, and I love my job!
