Welcome to my classroom. My name is Lisa Wigdor and I am the blended/special education preschool teacher at Alcoa Elementary School.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood
- K-12 Special Education and an EDS in Educational Leadership.
About Me:
I provided speech-language therapy to students prior to working as a special education preschool teacher and a preschool language group teacher in Knox County Schools. While with Knox County Schools. I had the opportunity to provide training to teachers in teaching language and communication skills to young children through the Hanen program I have been married to my husband Jon for almost 30 years and I have 3 children; Michael, 27, Andrew 25 and Laura 20. I have been teaching at Alcoa for 7 years and I love my students and colleagues! My favorite part of teaching is when my students learn to communicate and interact with teachers and peers!
